thankyou andrew. your help is greatly appreciated. yes the car is blowing blue/white smoke and its actually spitting oil out of my exhaust as the rear of my car has proven to me. but the smoke is only noticable/visible while i accelerate when vtec is engaged. i think you are correct in saying the source of the problem is the oil rings as im not loosing any power. ( not that im aware of anyways as ive only had the car for under a month. ) I will definatley be checking my spark plugs for "sludge" and i will keep you informed. One last thing, im still driving my car for daily use. Im not using vtec as i am afraid of damaging the engine even more, but could normal low rev driving be doing more damage or am i fine for driving it for the next couple of weeks or as soon as i can get it repaired? thankyou very much for all your help.

    your vtec is leaking :/

    =]

    try takin the bus/train.
can yoo imagine pouring oil down the piston bore? n let it run?
well youll probably get a hydraulic lock, but that wont happen to you lol -.-" but another thing to keep in mind is your cat.
no, not the meowing type. the burning fuel type.
    oil+cat converter+long period of driving without a fix = ?
probably will save you a couple of dosh on replacing your cat.
or you can just vtec the oil outta there when you get everything fixed =D

either way. just get it fixed asap.

yay.... looks like a rebuild... because no-one opens the engine JUST to change rings. might be a good idea to sneak in some eagle rods, and i'd seriously be starting to think long term here. do you wanna look at going forced induction? you might wanna drop in some low-compression pistons or even get slightly higher compression pistons.
Might also look at re-sleeving the engine. very important
if your sleeve's are gone, then new ring's will only hold up for so long before the blow-by gets the better of them.
either way, if those pistons need new rings. then seriously start thinking forced induction & low compression or naturally aspirated & high compression.
the best stealth mods cannot be seen unless you open the engine up.
    have fun

Check your radiator to see if there is any oil mixing in with the coolant. You'll see it floating on the top and if there is, might be a headgasket.

this guys is correct i would do same thing, you paid them for something they f***en didn't even do properly,~ i don't know why your trying to fix the problem when there is clearly someone to blame.

however if you go to nrma they will say you did it to the car, so yer, if i was you i would probably take it to honda last resort but still check with nrma and keep hassle them!~
