just visited honda dealer, saw this demo s2k

i wonder whos buying fresh new s2000 for 70k+,
even if you scroll down through carsales website, look for 2nd with 2005 up year model, i dont think there is

i still look around for second car, im also not sure what car to buy either
,i checked for early s2k, but the Kilometres are so high, around 80-100k or up
is it worth it? gearbox, engine, and leather seat are main problem right?

    N/A I'd chose an E46 M3, turbo I'd have an EVO X

Some interesting rumours on the BMW 1 Series tii made my ears prick...hopefully they actually build it and do it properly.

80 k on a well looked after S2k is not bad at all. I got mine with 25k and Im on 70k now and there is no difference to the way it performs. The seat is not as good as it used to be despite my best efforts. Its serviced well, garaged and treated with respect. Many arent, just got to find the right one.

    Lotus? or Arial Atom?

Both have the wind in the hair effect.

For an s2000 lover the next car a lotus elise/exige would be a mad choice but it's even more impractical then the s2000 lol.
I would love one as a weekender, I came from a 2ZZ and would love to go back to it with a more potential chassis.

the 1 series? I saw a 135i at BMW a few weeks ago, no matter how much I want to love it, I can't...it's just TOO ugly.

mileage on this car just depends on the condition rather than anything else...my car pulls as hard as my friends 99 s2k with 25,000kms, last time we went up this hill my car was pulling on his! mines got 111,000kms now...

Ariel Atom for sure. Even the base model is fast and grippy. But if you have to have a roof over your head in case it rains, then Lotus.
