Since running the 9.93@147mph, i have changed to a larger turbo,larger wastegate, better design exhaust manifold,larger cams and a ported head,initial signs are good as its got a heep less back pressure in the exhaust manifold and seems to be making more power at alot less boost.
I had it on the dyno a few weeks back and it was a total waist of time, anything over 25psi and 7000rpm it spun the tires very badly on the dyno. had 3 guys sitting on the front end trying to get it to stop spinning, but everytime it hit 7000rpm it would blaze the tires and hit the 10.700rpm rev cut.
I also noticed in the logs the 920cc injectors are maxed out, so this will be adressed shortly.
Previously it made 537whp on 34psi... i rekon it will be up around 600 on the same boost once tuned/sorted.
I will log it and tune it at the track next time out,once tuned im confident we will be running back in the 9z.
Ohhh and had a photo shoot for zoom mag and dragsport(usa) mag the other week.
