    ticking when car is ran.

So, whenever im driving and when i park teh car after a drive.
    i get a ticking sound.
as soon as i turn off teh engine teh ticking is rather fast, but slows down after.

i told my mechanic and he said it was just my parts cooling down eg. exhaust?
for some reason i dont believe that.
my mate said it was my condenser?

    what you guys think?

As above - just metal contracting from the heat.
See a good post? Give it a PQ point.

    I think it sounds cool
I also like it when i turn it off in the rain, and i can hear the sizzle of water hitting the hot exhaust componenets.
also, if i dont drive it hard, it doesnt make the ticking noise at all, but how often do i dont drive hard?

Heard it heaps of times and yes it is the exhaust heat shields cooling down.

Once you have an aftermarket system the noise will go as they don't have heat shields.
