    04 Euro Auto Gearbox clunking

    Hey all,

Need some advice. When stationary, and putting the car back from drive to park, the gearbox is clunking when going through reverse. I had a gearbox service at 50,000kms. Anyone else had the same problem? Thanks.

Mine sometimes clunks when going into reverse but that's prolly because I get a bit carried away and don't wait till the car has fully stopped before changing gear and direction.

This seems to be a characteristic of many different makes of cars. I don't know why it happens but both my Hondas make that noise and for that reason I'm happy to live with it.
