    CL9 Remote Engine Start

Has anyone managed put in an engine start?

I'm guessing, if i do i'd have to ditch the OME key/remote?

    Thanks

you mean like a start button, or remotely turn on your engine via key/remote?

Both are do-able I'm sure, start button is probably easier and straight forward, but via key/remote you would most likely need a 3rd party system (but reminding you that remote engine start is illegal).

For installing the button into a Prelude, but same thing for the Euro. Use the same parts and look for similar wires.

Doing remote engine start through DIY means disabling your immobiliser. So anyone can break into your car and just hotwire it. Proper kits should have a secondary circuit that triggers the immobiliser. Having said that, remote starts are ILLEGAL in Australia.
