    Cbr-125

I know its a pussy little bike but who's got one???

I bought one a month ago.. its a pretty good deal for what it is.
It's new, cheap, reliable, and easy to handle - what more can a poor L plater ask for ???

i had one! easiest thing to learn on but it's BORING, riding position aint great, not very stable nor fast, but it's the best value for money, it's new it's cheap and it's reliable

rode my friend's cbr250rr and loved it so decided to sell the 125

i brought my cbr125r for $3600 with 2000kms on it a year ago, just sold it now for $3950 so they hold value quite well

They're 5000 on road from the dealer but you should be able to pick up a used one for 3500-5000.

They are quite good if your're a sooper noob like myself ie. you do not know how to spot out faults on 2nd hand bikes. Learn how to ride for a couple of months then you can resell it!!

I've read somewhere that honda has not released any official performance stats.

From my own experience 1st gear is very short and you would be shifting up to 2nd before you even hit 40kph!! The remainder of the other 5 gear ratios are quite similar.
Ive heard top speed is 120kph.. i managed to get it up to 110kph on 6th gear @ about 8000rpm.

So its not very powerful but for what it is, its a good buy i think.

Yeah it does look like a push bike but its not a waste of money if you can resell it for close to what you paid for it i think

OH MADDD i love sv's. Imo 125 does get boring, I hopped on my friend one, she loves it and I hate it due to the lack of power and stability. Personally the 125 is a great noob bike, Im not saying im a pro or anything but I like forcing my bike to steer rather than turn the bars.
The feeling of tipping the bike in is great, and i love understeer. the 125 seems abit unstable tipping it in, abit shakey because doesnt feel like youve got much to grip your inner thighs on
