    My hooter aint working?

    Help guys, the other day i took my aftermaket steering wheel off just to align it properly, and wen i put it back on, the hooter does not work?

    any ideas y?
    is there a fuse somewhere? or wire i can check?

    check the fuse box in your engine bay...

    if it's not blowing fuses then it may just be a bad contact. it could be in the wiring but that usually leads to a short.

    needs 2 to work

    there is also a wire that contacts the base of the hub that can break.

    no horn = defect
    Is this the end of my car modding days? Buying a house says so...

    Have you tried replacing this part?

    i think the brake lights are running off the same fuse as the horn
    if your brake lights dont work then its the fuse.

    Ok well i checked my break lights, both were blown, so i replaced them, then i checked all the fuses, but all were fine, so i will have to take the steering wheel off later and see if anything is loose there!

    Hey guys found the prob, its was the wire at the base of the hub, i just replaced it and the hooter started working again!

    test the horn by shorting the thick red and blue wire and the tab that comes out the bottom of the black thing that the indicator/wipers is connected to. horn should sound.
    Is this the end of my car modding days? Buying a house says so...
