Stock Preludes Vs Integras huh?
Can shithouse GSi's take part too? Or have I been banned after last summer?
Interesting that a stock Prelude VTiR is so much faster than all Integras bar an ITR.
I distinctly remember chewing the absolute **** out of a stock 5th Gen Lude time and time again. I was extremely surprised.
Must definitely be the drivers. Or perhaps gradient of the slope....or perhaps bad timing...or perhaps shitty tyres...anybody for a cold/overheated clutch?
All talk and no play....

My stock vtir teg went up against a 5th gen vtir lude with air filter donno if he had exhaust. I got a better launch then him and was half a car infront of him and that's were it stayed till 100.

I dunno about you bois, but IMO traffic light drags, on-street drags do no count and cannot and will not justify which car is the better.
If you want to find out, do it on a blackstrip, in an enclosed and controlled environment, and on balck-and-white.
As for the topic, with stock forms of both models, find out the power-to-weight ratio, and that should derive a better theoretical answer.
If you want practical comparisons, google it, or email BMI to do a comparison

Considering I'd only owned the car for a month (hadn't really worked it out) and the clutch was cooked... standard 110,000km original suspension (front end was in the air) and the tyres were badler than an eagle with bad camber
Oh, and as always Jon, welcome to take me on anytime.
Against Totti in his old VTiR, I was a good 1/2 length on him til 120ish... and that wasn't a stock VTiR teg

Pretty sure it had an exhaust (????? was a while ago) and was atleast lowered - might be wrong
Either way, I'm always open to challenges - just let the clutch n LSD go in this week, then its a free for all.
I say pick a wednesday, and hit WSID

mine made 110kw at the wheels.

My non-VTEC GSi was, and basically still is, tock. At that stage I was into a 3rd week of waiting for my new clutch to arrive at Advan, so I was running on a non existant clutch. Yes, my car is lowered.
What's the use of waiting for your clutch and LSD? I thought the topic of discussion was "stock" Prelude VTiR Vs. stock Integra VTiR.
I merely mentioned I found it odd a Prelude VTiR kept losing to my GSi.
Complaints of clutch/gradient/stock condition are really irrelevant.
I also find it hard to believe Totti's ex red VTiR was that slow.

Clutch will be stock replacement (as far as I know, up to Robbie really), LSD shouldn't effect straight line racing. The clutch pick up point is so far up, it is extremely hard to drive.
On my standard boat suspension (which was dead), the ass squated so much, the front wheels never got any grip - and I was trying too hard and continually ****ed up - yes, driver made more difference than anything, as is so often the case.
You saw how many times I ****ed up gear changes - I was pathetic

i like DC2R more than pelude 5th gen
at least it looks smooth and better~

So is this how it goes guys?
in a strait line with stock standard cars the order goes like this
1st = Teg Type R (b18c5/6) 2nd = Prelude Vtir (H22a) 3rd = Teg Vtir (B18c)
let us know
Cheers!

I think you might find the B18C might be a challenge for the H22A....
