One thing about shoot outs is that they are stock bikes. Not set up at all.
Setting up your bike is the first thing people do, and has a dramatic effect on how the bike performs.

There is good reason why people go for Yamaha bikes. They work so damn good, they are so damn reliable, and they always improve their bikes year after year.

R6 comes with a slipper clutch as well.

Yeah, they actually outsold the Yamaha's last year.

Like the latest dirtbikes, it is pretty much pick a colour.

Triumph have stepped up a little bit in the last couple of years and the 675 was good for a while but as far as technology and build quality goes they are way behind Honda.
the trumpy 675 is a hot bike, never ridden one but dangs id like one

yahhhhhhhhhhhhh teh speed triple is the shitssss i love it, looks so mean and sounds so mean too but with a rear cost 400, and have to replace it ever 4000-5000km is a rude shock to me lol, considering my tyres on the 250 last me anywhere from 8000-12000, and 5000 for the soft compound tho. so same shit

yehhh, but imo slipper clutch isnt really needed unless your doing some serious cornering. yeh you should read the manual and set up your bike the way you feel comfortable with. as i have the 250, the best thing i can do is adjust the rear accordingly and use the 50c mod and wack them into your forks so when you brake it eases up the load of the front
looking for aftermarket FN2R parts ! pm me !

I got myself an r6 and have never ridden the cbr600 but i wish the R6 would deliver power more smoothly and evenly through the rev range instead of a boost feeling at 6-8krpm it just flies!

All the 600rrs are nice, id say ride them all and check them all out and you will make up your mind. Once you upgrade you wouldn't want to go back!

Besides nvmee who seems to be obsessed with his 250 haha
