    assuming your scenario,
    Total Customs Value = $1940

Total Duty Payable (10% of customs value) = $194

    Total GST Payable (10% of Total of Customs Value + Duty Payable + Shipping/Insurance Cost) = 10% x ($1940 + $194 + $550) = $268.40

Declaration Processing Charge (Fixed amount charged) = $48.85

Total Payable = Customs Value + Duty Payable + GST Payable + Declaration Processing Charge = $511.25
in addition to your $1940 and $550 shipping.

Total you will spend would be $3001.25.
Please note this is rough a estimation and due to economic changes or commercial amendments in costs or process, will not be held against my calculation. Only for insight on the costs you will be required to pay.

it really depends mate, if you compare the costs with some traders/sellers around Oz the costs might be almost the same, it may vary.

When i got my Teins, i ended up getting it myself cause everyone was charging almost 3300 for Tein MFP + EDFC + Motorkit.

and in answer to your question, i prefer the first set of weds as they look cleaner compared to the 2nd which looks a bit messy.
