Hey mate, if you could dig up a pic that would be great! Pics tell a thousand words!
ive just finished work, pics at night arent as good as during day
will put pics up tomoro for you to decide
i would like to point out, 999 trader may have different skunk2 springs then the one i have on the car which was bought from US (I AM BASING ON THIS WITH THE PIC HE/SHE HAS PUT UP FOR SALE, PLEASE DONT TAKE MY WORD FOR IT). so different model springs might be a factor with height and spring rates.
FYI these are the skunk2 springs i have on the car. Part Number:-
519-05-5005.
"I installed skunk2 lowering springs on my KYB AGX (already installed) shocks this weekend. I then took it for an allignment and they double-checked to make sure everything was buttoned down.
The car is just about un-driveable right now. It sits so low that the tires are tucking. If I turn any direction, the front tires rub. It sits so low the the exhaust cannister knocks against the lower control arm when I hit bumps. It pulls right under acceleration and left while braking. The front end also vibrates under hard acceleration. It didn't do any of this before and I had cheap coil-overs on it.
I've heard that Skunk2 springs are low, but I havn't read where anyone couldn't drive their car on them. Has anyone else had trouble and what did you do? "
Apparently new bushings and LCAs are also needed.
Second thoughts...

They get the springs from 999 Automotive still, but are charging 250 for install/alignment (quoted 300 previously). Will look into other places for cheaper installation/alignment. Many do install without any alignment though. i.e. another place 180 install.
Else I could probably save myself the trouble and go with king springs for $350 installed - although then it wouldn't be skunk2 quality...
