    exhaust questions

looking to have my exhaust system installed.

got headers and a muffler atm, looking for a cat.

Just wondering whether i should change my bpipe aswell. should i upgrade to 2.25" piping size? or use the stock one? is the stock 2"?

    thanks !

depends on if you want low down torque or top end power .how big is the collector on the headers? and are they 4-2-1 or 4-1? if the collector is 2.25" then you should probally change the b pipe aswell. if the headers are 4-1 then you might lose a significant amount of low end torque.

what are the benefits of changing it? seeing as its a stock d-motor 2.25" size piping is the max anyone would go.

so assuming the stock one is 2" wouldnt it be sufficient?

So youve done the headers and axle back yer?

And you're looking at changing the cat and maybe the bpipe?

Imo its worth it to change the whole exhaust, on my integra I changed it all in one go (put on stands and put it in ourselfs) and once I took it for a drive it felt so much nicer to drive.

I was going from a stock vtir exhaust (1.75" iirc and press bent) to a 2.25" mandrelbent (5zigen headers, highflowcat, fujitsubo catback).
Its feels like it has alot more torque down low and now with my cai it revs alot better.

    Hope that helps.

    A piece of shit
What is the inlet on the Muffer, and the Outlet of the headers. Buy a B-pipe for sure! Just make sure the diameters of the muffler and headers is the same. The exhaust will flow better. You can get custom B-pipes... but if you have $400 or perhaps less... you can pick up a Vision B-pipe brand new!
