Just get a tap and die set and re-thread to the next size up and get the corresponding bolt will probably be the easiest way. diy or pro should be fairly cheap.

i broke some once before. tightened them too hard, i got a mechanic to replace them cos they are threaded from the inside, they took off the rocker cover. If your not sure its usually good to get the professionals

i did the same thing, snapped 2 bolts on the valve cover. was only about $50 for a mechanic to fix it.

can't do that. You need to take the stud out from under the rocket cover, and replace.
Cos there is oil all round you don't wanna drill either.

i fixed it myself, there is a new thing out and its like a two part resin mixed together you have 4 min to play with put it in the thread hole and put a agent on the bolt for release then just screw it in and wait 10 mins take it out wait another 30mins to fully cure. it is a big job relacing the thread caps i will try this if stil leaking i will take to a machanic. will let use no.

    thanks guys
