    Honda makes Accord hybrid

    Honda has created a hybrid version of its new Accord sedan that it says combines V6 power with the fuel consumption of a small car. The car will be on sale in the US this year and may come to Australia.

    hybrid accord makes more power than the regular internal combustion version due to the addition of the electric motor which provides fantastic torque from start-up

    looks like they were aiming for power as well as Civic-like levels of fuel efficiency

    i would say mainly

    it also features what they call VCM - variable cylinder management. it will cut to 3 of the V6's cylinders while cruising or at low engine loads, displacement on demand if you will

    has anyone ever driven a hybrid vehicle? i've had the pleasure (?) of driving a prius mk I, not much different from my 7th gen auto, only even more sluggish braking is just on or off, none of the progressive feel
