well imagine you have seats that arent adr apprioved. theyere absolutely shitty quality

youre in a crash, and the seat jsut snaps. no suport what so ever, your body is jsut gonna slip out of the seat belt, and get fucked up

its not jsut the seats, they need to be engineered to ensure the rails are fine. what happens if the rails are fucked? youre in a crash and the entire seat comes off the floor, and you get sent into the steering wheel/dash/windscreen

its the little details that are important not jsut the big obvious shit

so recaros arnt adr approved OR they need to be engineer approved so that you are not defected? because some cars come with recaro as stock!!!

but its not just recaros, its ANY AFTERMARKET SEAT. and the installation has to be engineered.

am i reading this correctly, since when does this rule apply to green p plate holders? im assumeing this is carrying more then 1 passenger after the 11pm cut off?

AFAIK (from RTA documentation) there are certain brands of steering wheel and boss kit which are ADR aproved.
Autotecnica, MOMO, SAAS.

If the seat is ADR approved it will have a tag on the seat itself or paperwork.
Word of mouth approval doesnt apply :lol:
I have one here with ADR tag.
