    DIY sub hole

    hey guys...
    i am doing a DIY sub for my boot, and i need to make a hole for u subs...
    can anyone recommend me on what is the best and most accurate way of doinng the holes that would fit mine?!

    You mean the opening for the speaker? Draw the template, drill a hole then jigsaw it out. Easy as pie.
    It's not a f*cking Prelude.

    i know...
    but i tried that and it doesn't come up as a circle...
    any better idea?

    Buy a sub box. Fabrication clearly isn't for you.
    It's not a f*cking Prelude.

    it doesn't have to be a perfect circle. as long as the sub sits in the hole flush and you can screw it down correctly.

    If you can't jigsaw your way around in a circle and keep it close to a line then i reccommend a prefabbed sub box too.

    draw the size you want... then drill it out with many holes... easiest if you dont have a jigsaw

    80 dollar jigsaw would be easier then drilling holes lol

    i know that. i'm no stranger to DIY. my whole car is that.

    but DIY also means you should be prepared to spend a bit of money to do a descent job.

    Take your time with the jigsaw and get the perfect cut. Nobody is rushing you.

    Also make sure your jigsaw has a scrolling style blade
