    Hey guys pls help me out how can i take off the chrome strip on the door i want to paint mine black

    Ive had proper US sourced tape forr 6 months but cant work out how to pull the chrome off either. Makes suntzu cry.

    I got mine from amazon. Its called chrome black out tape by Trimbrite. Car looks very clean after the mod.
    I've had mine for almost a year now and its still stuck on nicely!
    Didnt take long at all to get shipped either. I think its about $10 a roll shipped from memory. You will need at least 2-3 rolls i think. Just get more just to be safe.

    I have asked about that option. Apparently the chrome bends out of shape and would be a bitch to put back on.
    Black out tape would be easiest imo

    another option is to buy the sport trim set from honda parts as it is black finish

    ^ nah i have asked abt that too. It costs about $500 or so for the trim!
    I only have pics of it from a distance and poor resolution.



    I dont have any close shots. IMO, from more than 1m away from trim, you wont be able to tell its tape unless you're looking for it. It might be because i have visors so not as noticeable. I think the tape is a very worthwhile mod
