    Accord'06 Service and Warrenty

    Hi folks,

I believe Honda Accord'06 Standard warrenty period is 3 Years (plz correct me if wrong). I am curious to know whether during this period if I have to change my Brake Pads, should that be covered under warrenty?

Because they've charged me extra for Brake Pads during last major service.

    cheers

as far as I know, all consumables such as brake pads, are not included in the warranty~~

That's right. Wear and tear plus consumables are not covered. That includes brake pads, rotors, clutch, fluids and wipers, unless there was an abnormal problem with the part. For example, if your brake pad broke into half in the first year, that should be covered if you did not abuse the car. However, if you wore out the entire brake pad in 1 year even with low kms, then it would be attributed to your driving style and not covered because it would be under wear and tear.
