    JDM Headlights for CD5 Help !

    Hey all,

    I have ordered some Stanley JDM headlights (black housed) ones.

    And im wondering how the hell do you remove the standard headlights for these ones ? Im under the influence you have to remove the front bumper ?

    Can anyone direct me in the right direction with a DIY or a manaul ?

    Help is muchly appreciated

    im not to sure.i have put my halo ones in yet.but buy a haynes manual for $20 off ebay.that will help you in the future also

    first of all take the bumper indicators out

    behind them are 4 12 mm bolts holding the reinforcement bar to the radiator support.

    remove them 2 on each side

    wheels arches, right under the side parkers should have one each aswell holding the 2 sides of the bumper on

    then underneath the car should be some plastic clips that hold the bottom of the bumper onto the undertray

    Yep, it works. You may as well remove the whole bumper instead of lowering it down to give you more room - removal of the bolts indicated in the article are all that are needed to drop the whole bar.

    Hmmm... clear lenses...

    Actually, thinking about it, the three bolts in the middle of the bumper don't even to be taken out. From what I can gather the bumper is held on by the 2 x 12mm bolts on each metal support, and the two phillips head screws at each wheel arch. I removed those and the bumper came right off.

    Took a little over an hour to do, but very happy with the end result, just gotta adjust the front bar properly now :/

    Its so annoying lol.

    Hey, well it CAN be on eBay or it can be also bought from www.rpmgarage.com

    the dude who runs it is a very professional seller and i recommend the eBay store and also the site

    I've bought afew things from there with no problems what so every and delivery is ultra quick too ! took 3 days to arrive !!
