can a 17inch wheel with +38 offset fit s2k?

Definately 17's, but it depends on the spoke design IMO.

Advan RG's 17"
But BBS LM's 18"
meister's 18"

Again, personal choice.

found 18inch advan rg... 18 x8 with 40 offfset n 18 x 9 with 45 offset... at japanese performance center in perth.. goin there after work...hopefully it will fit

Nice find man!!! They will fit, just gotta roll the guards to fit some good sized tyres on em. Will look very good!

Front will stick out slightly IMO. I had 8" fronts with +40 and they stuck out quite a bit on the front.

But you can't go wrong with RG's IMO. Probably my all time favourite wheel.

It won't stick out that much. I run 17x8 +44 up front and they're pretty much flush.

And your rears will look like this;

17 x 9 +44 mounted on 245/40 (requires camber + gaurds rolled)

ok the advan rg have +40 offset all round... test fit them on the car the back stickes out...so i settle for work meister s2r wheels that fits good on the car 18x8 40 offset front with 235 tyres n 18 x 9 47 offset with 265 tyres... the rear might need some guard rolling... but not alot. im dropping the car off tommorow b4 work n picking them up after work. will post pics tommorow night
