whats best way to get through the console in the rear with household tools? without having to get grinders, jigsaws etc..? ty

yeah still the best way is to take them out first and fit the bar, then once its out you could use anything from a drill, to a knife, to a jig saw. You don't have to leave it out for ages. Plus its only in the boot, its not like you could see it there anyway.
id say get a drill.. and just drill a hole and push the drill sideways and try to what wehreever ur tryin to cut it .. if thats teh only tool ug ot
