need help.

something is going on with my car.
i think i've got clutch prblems. i can hear a grinding noise, with a slight hissing noise when my foots off the clutch. although it all goes away when i put the clutch in.
any ideas on wat it could be would be a great help

not too sure mate but it might be a throwout bearing, i had a similar problem on my 180sx some time ago. It sounded like when you try to engage a gear without putting the clutch it. It went away if i engaged the clutch or once i took off, ie it would only do it while the car was stationary.

I never ended up fixing the problem, sold the car as is, so i'm not 100% sure it's the same thing

when was the last time u changed ur clutch fluid etc ?

i got the car serviced 6 months ago, just after i first bought it. i'm not sure if they changed it though. would it really affect the car and make the noises?
