    Car won't start!!

    ok..heres the scoop.
went drivin for bout 1hr, then stopped at a friends house, turn off engine, watched a movie for bout 2hrs (white chick lol !!) then went back down to go home.

start the car, and it started fine...then 2 min later for the warm up, the car turns off by itself..just died, sif u turned it off by the key...tried starting it, and the engine would not catch on.

things u checked and were fine:
    -main relay
    -ECU fuse
    -Fuel filter

i took out one of the leads and connected another sparkplug on it to test to see if theres a spark, and there isn't.

    Dizzy problem?
    something else ??

everything starts up perfect...but theres no combustion.

That's hardly starting up if there's no combustion

no spark = ingition modual. or coil. does the rotor button rotate while you crank ? take off your distributor cap and have a look.

when was the last time you changed your timming belt ?

    Was it grounded correctly?

If there is no spark, then its a dizzy problem not fuel. That would explain the sudden cutout.

yeah, it sounds like the timing belt is broken, everything u said just sound like what happened to me but it was worst for me, I stopped at a traffic light and that's when the timing belt broke.

if i remmber correctly, robert just rebuilt this engine, so i guess its gonna be a freebie if the belt snapped...
take off the timing cover tomorrow, its easy, and see if there is a belt attached )
