    Mixing different springs

Is it a good idea to have two different set of springs on a car? I recently installed some Eibach Pro Kit springs on my car and found that the front was a lot lower than the rear… which was okay on flat roads… but when I go up my drive way (which is on a slight angle) it scarps the front.

I was thinking of keeping the rear as is and just replacing the front springs with my old set of Kings? Will this have any major effect on the car?

It depends on the spring rates of the Eibach and Kings. If the spring rates are fairly close then the car's handling might even feel the same.

There will only be a major change in the car's handling if the spring rates are very different.

i see. would anyone happen to know the spring rates of Eibach Pro Kits and King Springs (i don't think they are the super lows).

I had the same issue with my prokits, it seemed about 3/4" lower at the front.
I put kings lows in the front and it evened it out for a while, but then sagged and nows exactly like the prokit =/
