i suggest selling them both and buy a type r

you will get all the extras with a type r and less hassle and it will cost you the same

sell dc5 22k.. sell engine for 6k(?).. there you go enough money for a type r

i agree. The engine alone would have cost u what 8 grand? it really is best to just sell both and get a type r. yes it is a pain and ull have to wait longer but seriously. the extras you get with the type r, stiffer sussy, recaros, better wheels, and a lighter body to name a couple.

It would not be cost effective to get a base and put a type r engine in. labour costs and everything will jsut be ****ed.

thx for u guys reply, i feel u guys, i ll consider to sell the engine, but not the car, i can drive the manual one, but not really good enough to racing everytime, everywhere.
actually , i contact with isracing many times and indy said same words as u guys
now i got another choice , that is send the original ecu to U.S by buddyclub and let hondata help me to reflash the ECU, finally, can improve 10-15KW. that s what i can do best on semi dc5, i think

what u guys think about that

i think u should learn to drive manual.. and throw out ur box set of fast n furious, then go buy a type r

did you just get the engine or the everything? is it AUDM or JDM?

like everyone has said, get a DC5r. Honda spend a fair bit of time engineering the Type R versions of all there cars.... as they are completely differant to the base models.

If your only concern with getting a DC5r is because your "not really good enough to racing everytime, everywhere."...... LEARN TO DRIVE A MANUAL!

you don't need to "race" everywhere... you can drive like a normal person.

    summing up
    SELL Base DC5
    SELL K20
    BUY DC5r

Buy a CW DC2R, do a JDM front end and put the K20a in that.

Yeh, learn to drive a manual, probably the best money you'll ever spend in terms of modding something.
