Can get koni sports shipped from US for $575US or $700AU these days!

Ground control sells the eibach springs for $339US or $410AU, from what i can see, they dont charge extra for the shipping, even to here! I went through the whole checkout process and at the final step, the cost was still only $339

Don't be disappointed when you find that you have to pay extra for shipping. Whenever you do an international order it's always best to email them directly instead of using an automated system.

Koni Australia probably won't honour an overseas purchased set of shocks either so take that into account.

The price for the shipped koni's was from speaking directly to the trader.

True, but at the last stage of the transaction for the springs/coilover sleaves, there site says to pay $339US for them to be shipped to your australian address (which is also displayed on the page), you select your country early on in the process.

Still theres a chance you will have to pay 10% to customs of whats written on the invoice, somthing that ive gotten away with before.

Getting the konis and eibachs put in early next week. Is there anything overly complicated in putting them in going to get my local mechanic to put them in as he is a family friend (cheap labour) he's not a suspension expert but he's been a mechanic for many years. Also in the box of the springs there is a booklet that says you need to trim the factory bump stop.
What does this mean? Because i'm getting koni's do i still have to do it?
    Cheers.

Started putting in the koni's today only got the rear shocks and springs in so far but the gap from tyre to guard is different on both sides with the drivers side being about 10mm lower than the passenger. Is this normal? Also on the front the gap is lower on the passenger side by 5-10mm just with the pedders springs. Are the accord's made like this or is there something wrong?
    Cheers.

Yeah they are on the right way. Been driving on them for a few hours now and they seem to have evened up abit haven't adjusted the damper on them yet as i just finished putting them in the car this arvo so going to drive on them for a few days before i start playing with the damper. But they feel much better than the stock shocks and springs.
