For the F1 fans.

Ok people.
Since there are alot of us on here who like/follow F1 i thought we can make things interesting by starting a little competition.

Before each F1 race, someone can create a thread and everybody tips who they think will finish in the top 8?

Just type in the position number and name and thats it and maybe a reason why you think it.

If you get it right your a genius and deserve something.

What do you all think?

Lets start it at Monza in this thread.

cool, we have an F1 tipping comp at work, besides the top 8 we also have pts for pole, and what we call a 'star' performer i.e. who makes up the most places on the grid e.g if he started from 16th but stormed home to come third

we also have a time cut-off we have to get the entries in by - usually friday arvo 5pm, but with this we can go all the way right up to the start of the race, each time you post there's a time signature as well

anything after the start of the race of course is null and void

I've gone for a gamble and i think that the Michelins might have a slight advantage. But if abit of rain happens well Ferrari 1-2

I was just thinking how difficult it would be to correctly guess the top 8 positions, very very slim chances if you consider all 20 cars would finish in the 8, even still guessing Ferrari, BMW, McLaren, BAR, Renault, Jaguar and Sauber have high chances of finishing in the point.
