How long for Civic body repair?

Hey guys, unfortunately 7 weeks ago someone backed into my Civic with his tow ball and my radiator stuffed. But the thing is the repair is still going!! Just wondering how long does the body repair usually take?

The damage doesn't looks that bad, speed was less than 20 km/h. I was told the radiator, front bumper bar and the suspension need to be changed, should those take 7 weeks to repair??!! The repairer is Astra Honda at Bentleigh. Bloody hell!!

yeah, under insurance, I have no clue why! Pretty much nothing happend to the other car!

Maybe they want to claim as much money from the insurance company as they could. Should have my exhaust replaced too!

Just wondering what sort of damage does it require 7 weeks to repair? Any ideas?

Because I can't say much to them as I don't have anything to reference, they could simply tell me it does take that long and may even tell me it is already shortened by so and so weeks!

maybe they're waiting on the painter to do the front bar?

best bet is to ring them and check.

7 weeks is unacceptable. have you been given a loan car??

no loan car! This is the first time to experience an accident, should I get a loan car for free?

depending on your insurance company you should.

Usually if its longer then a week or 10 working days you get a car. Just depends on your deal.

This can be repaired in under week including baking the new paint (Based on availability of parts as well)
