If your going to pay to get it painted black, it would probably only cost $100 or so more to get your bonnet layed with a single layer of CF.

Go to a place that works with composites and get a quote.
Or if your brave and can fiberglass well, have a go at laying CF yourself, you can buy the fabric at decent prices.

What do you mean a layer of CF?

just layer a carbon fibre mat on top of ur current bonnet and .. put resins on it so it will set to ur bonet

doesnt save the weight but its a bonnet that has been added with carbon fiber on the surface

just a single layer of carbon fibre layed on top of your original bonnet.

carbon on the outside- stock on the inside

    Yeah, as above.
Just your normal bonnet, but with a layer of CF on top instead of a layer of paint.
Would look nicer then black paint, or the CF vinal stickers.
