-
Why do you need a price? shouldn't the mechanic be shopping around???
(my EK CXi box cost me $750)
-
yeh should, wel turns out, first person that looked told me wrong thing, he said box has ever been dropped or bottomed out, i think it was b4 i got the car, honbits has priced it 4 me, 1850 reco installed and thats them takin my box, i will put pics up soon of the damage, if any one else has places or prices plz tell, i live on central coast, so from syd 2 newcastle/hunteri can get it
-
how is the gearbox broken? May be able to salvage it instead of buying a reco'd one.
Why hello there
-
bolts between diff and gearbox, one lug and a piece of box gone, its right in the middle of the 2 joins in 2 halfs of te gear box
-
What dont you get the mechanic that broke it to pay for it!! They were the ones that forced it.
-
the shop you had the work carried out at should pay for a reco'd box + re-fitting. It was their fault as stated and you as the customer shouldn't be looking for prices.
Why hello there

nah coz i took box out, it was a mobile machinic, and where it is broken he didnt touch, my old man has looked at it and agrees
-
But you said he forced it...
-
... so you broke it, then a mobile mech came by and decided to put a broken gearbox back knowing he'll probably get in to shit by doing so.. is that what you are saying?
Why hello there
