    so much F@#%#$ headaches... arrgghhh..

my car was suppose to be tuned 3 weeks ago!!!!
every week there seems to be a problem with my car..
yesterday i had to take my whole manifold + turbo out to stop an oil leak..
i worked on it from 9-5pm.. after everything was put back together
the oil feed line got twisted somehow n oil was spilling out everywhere!!!
i fix one problem sumfin else pops up... f@#$!!
had 2 spend another $80 when i didnt even need 2..wtf!!

everything is fine now.. sorry, i too needed to vent..

Turboing a honda is not a walk in the park from what im experiencing...
i've had it up 2 my neck wit all d probs i've came across..
& whats more frightening is dat dis is only the begining!!

at least im learning in the process like 'FSTFWD' said..

the kit i bought off ebay didnt come wit d right fittings so i had 2 get some new one.. found a place in seven hills 'motorsportconnections' dat hooked me up wit d right ones.. if u need turbo fittings, they will have them..

anyways, i booked my car in 4 tuning on sat... hopefully i can pay my $600 bux & get on wit my life..

well its possible and it can be done that way but i wouldnt really trust it...honda's are hot engine in general. i dont think pushing an originally NA car with a turbo and not giving it that extra cool will be good. Sometimes its better to be safe than sorry i guess.

I also doubt that the kit was "designed" to be ran without an intercooler.

Someone probably just said that it would be "ok" without one so they decided to knock em off cheaper without the cooler. lol

IMO, do it right the first time.

sorry to sound so negative bro but you will run into alot more problems...i think that was the first problem i had...oil leek!! when i got the kit for some reason they gave me like 5 million oil line fittings which i have seriously a bucket at home half full with left overs. dont rest the braided oil line up against heat btw...yeh looks like a braided line but its not internal Teflon like normal braided oil lines. its just rubber. so it will easily melt.....

anyways i have a feeling the next thing that will need replacing is one of the gaskets. on either the turbo, wastegate or dump. that was my next thing....then the welds on the turbo manifold.

i think those kits are just an overall kit for all cars and makes...but if you request for a CIVIC they will give you the manifold and intercooler piping just to change the kit specific for your car...otherwise for Nissan or toyota they seem very similar....thats why they give u like Every single connection so it makes it easier for them to not have complaints for missing parts. Mind you i had my screamer pipe missing. but its not like im going to Call US and be like Hey u didnt send me the screamer pipe...

dont worry tho dude once u got all the problems sorted u will be happy u only spent $800 to start with...but in 2 yrs time u will think to urself...why didnt i just wait and spend $2000...

Stay postive dude. Once you can beat those Nissan Skylines off the mark. Those pain and $$$ will be forgotten.

At least until the next visa bill arrives and shown all the PAYPAL purchases ......

Anyway, I think this is still more fun than buying the new Civic Type-R with $40K+.
Is a turbo D quicker than NA B?

now i can install a turbo kit by myself..

its not really hard installing a turbo as i thought..
jst alot of fiddling around & sourcing out all parts u need..

when i run into more trouble n get stuck..
    i'll pm u 4 some help.. i still have much 2 learn..
