The pillowball mount is optional on the SS.

Mine is very quiet. I dont have the Tein pillowball. I have the stock rubber and that seems to be the difference.
I went to the modded XR5 Turbo with Mods - the dark side.....BOOOOST!

Have you checked if your upper mount was transferred over properly?

yeh thats been checked. i've confirmed its definately coming from the front one on the drivers side. sounds like a loose bolt clanking on something. i've had all the bolts checked and they were fine.

Check whether the bolt at the bottom of the coil where it meets the A-arm is loose.

What GREEN part!??!!?!? The part above the springs are meant to be fully BLACK.
I think it is best if you took a photo of the spring, lower and upper mount.

Could you ask them what they did to fix the noise coz i just got Tein SS on my DC5R and the front drivers side is starting to make the same noise. I do have the upper pillowball mounts.
