Thread: Opinion

what is the reason for changing? there is a big difference in performance between the dc2r and an eg6. if its just for a change i say dont do it. if its for any other reasons then an eg6 is a good compromise for a car approx half the price.

i did exactly the same thing as you. i sold my dc2r and ended up getting a breeze conversion with jdm b16a, sussy mods, dc2r brakes and wheels, intake and headers...few other goodies. i can honestly say it does not compare to the dc2r, but for half the price is a reasonable compromise.

so my opinion dont do it unless you have to!

Thx for all the advice guys...

Soundstreamer i don't have to i think i want to... plus i think it will probably be a good little daily driver. Nothing wrong with the b16a

ur better off getting a eg6 front cut imported ova here and doing a transplant.. thats exactly what i did in my Eg... the jap spec B16A runs about 10hp more than the aus B16A's too.. i imported a eg6 front cut from japan and all up it cost me approx 3000..

hmmmm options eh? i was also looking into an old AE86... more money to spend on mods... as it is even if i transplant

get a civic breeze for 7-8
    engine for 2-3
plus all the fun stuff 5

    im looking at approx 16.

I could do all this on an AE and still be under 10. Decisions, decisions.

nice car by the way baopham - engine bay is very tidy
