    dmx, have you had HID for your civic? I'm thinking of doing it myself without removing the front bumper.. I've been searching the forum for DIY guide for this, but I couldn't find one.. Do anyone know how?

    isn't the normal bulb for FD, HB3, HB4 and H11 for foggies?

    I've also been told that if I fit HID to my FD, it will void the warrenty, that's why I'm doing it. but correct me if I'm wrong~~

    You dont need to remove the front bumper at all.

    you remove the screws from the splash gaurd where the wheels are and pull it back.
    then you look up and you will be able to see the lights and you twist them and pull it out then place the hid bulb in there while some one helps you pull the cord for the ballast threw from the top of the engine bay.

    fog lights are easy just pull hard on the black cover next to it. then unscrew the light and replace the bulb.

    if you wanna know a bit more in detail just pm me.

    correct bulb sizes are
    Low beam - HB4
    High beam - HB3
    Parkers - W5
    Fog Lights - H11

    mine, i did remove the bumper to mount the balllast. but my fren, he just put around the radiator area (there is metal bar that u can use), and the cables close enough to reach the headlight. u can try this.

    Does HB4 = H4? HB3 = H3? Parkers = Watt5??

    Thanks

    The bulb sizes are not the same

    HB4 = 9006
    HB3 = 9005

    Parkers are usually 10W. Most or all cars use T10

    i would uninstall it before claiming the warranty, don't give a chance for them to avoid your warranty.
