k24 vtec sound?

ive got gruppe m and u can deff hear it after 4k than at 5,500 (mines been moved) it screams.. u can def tell the dif. IMO it sounds like a f1 car. a bit exageratted but yeh love it.

Have you heard an F1 car in real life?

Nothing except maybe Ferrari's and other exotics alike would sound like them and even them it soudns pissweak compared to an F1 car..

I've heard an K24a3 with an Injen. It's still very subtle.. nothing like a B-series.

K24A3 doesn't scream. It roars... Not enough RPM to scream.

The noise from the F1s are not the engine, what you actually hear is the gearbox, many racing cars uses spur gears which are more efficient than normal gears but are more noisey.

It's the engine. You should hear them free-rev when the car is at standstill in neutral.

Don't you guys with mods hear vtec more distinctively? After running IHE + pulley I can positively hear it on my car

It's the engine. You should hear them free-rev when the car is at standstill in neutral.

He said F1 Indy car. Last I checked, F1 cars were not Indy cars and Indy cars were not F1 cars.

Go to the F1 or even watch it on TV. Listen to them free rev it in neutral when at the start line. It sounds mad, and the gearbox isn't even spinning yet.

Yup definately engine and exaust noise you hear from F1 cars. The open exaust will drown out any gearbox noise there is. Listen to rally or touring cars and you will hear the gearbox sounds. Generally being straight cut and no synchro makes for a noisey gearbox.

i was in melb a few years ago for the F1!! sexiest sounds eva!! the noise that they make is AWSOME!!!

ive only got a pod, and it roar under wot and not hitting vtec yet!! i love it!! been thinking about getting an exhaust but i love the induction sound too much... ive been told that my car is really loud from the outside =D

I think I know what 19,000rpm sounds like when I hear it. It's definitely the engine/exhaust.
