Will the gruppeM RAM intake for the FD2 type R fit the Civic Sport?
I read somewhere that the Type R is wider than the normal FDs, since the gruppeM RAM intake for the FD2 Type R comes with a custom window tray, I wonder if there will be a difference in fit.

You can get them from Autobarn or Repco, but they'll charge you around $200 extra compared to Ebay.

I just bought off ebay last week, now it's under the hood.

    Cheers!

did you have to cut any holes at all whilst installing the Typhoon intake? I think there are 2 different ones on ebay, one with description R18 and then another one for 1.8litres. Which one is the correct one for the Honda Civic JDM 1.8L FD?

hi jace, i got my simota pod filter installed yesterday but after driving for a while the check engine light came on!? im wondering wats happening there? should i take it to a dealer and ask them to turn the light off? i know it probably has something to do with the increased air density from the new filter. what should i do?

ur check engine light is on because its a different sort of airflow to stock intake lol... i has simota charger, just disconnect battery and reconnect, should fix problem easy.

as to gruppe m intake for fd2, would it be wise? wouldnt the throttle body be different sizes, hence different intake piping diametre?

if its different size, you will:

    1) not even fit it lol

    2) probably get a massivly turbulant air flow due to change in diametre, eddy currents etc and prob be worse for the car imo lol
