Your +42 should stick out less than a +45.

Isn't the stock offset +42 anyway?

    I have +45. But I'm running 15x7 - 205/50/15. I would've gone 205/45/16 if I had 16 inch rims to retain similar rolling diameter.

I am also running Falken RT615's.

Sorry but you have it the wrong way round, lower offset will make the wheel stick further out and a higher, more positive offset will make the wheel sit further in toward the centre of the car .

The centre line of Icegroove's wheels are 3mm further outboard. It should not be enough to cause problems, and I have no idea why it is .

    Incorrect,

How offset works is that if the rim is +42 where the wheel bolts to the hub is 42mm outwards from the centre of the the rim. So then the lower the offset the further the lip of the wheel sits from the hub.

There would be very little visual difference with the +42 and +45 since it is 3mm difference.

Thats what I thought ( less offset means it'll sit further out)

which mean is IVAEQ8 and DL001 are running +40....and mine is +42..mine should technically sit in closer inward.

    its driving me nuts!

as for spacer - i'm 99% sure there is none. But will double check this weekend.

Only thing i can think of is that the hub is wrong? anyone know how to verify this...

Yours only sits in 2mm more. Not much at all. But yeh have a check of everything. Can you see +42 printed on the wheel?

Comparing 45 series to 50 series, your gaining another 10mm to the height of the wall, thats 20mm to the overall diameter. Tyre is taller, wall will buldge out more. I still think its your tyres that the problem.

Well like I said, with a 7 inch rim the max I would go is +40. Your going +30 which is 10mm further out, plus your going 0.5 and inch wider = 12.7mm, which is half of that either side of the wheel 6.35mm. 10mm + 6.35mm = 16.35mm

So for your 7.5inch +30 rim compared to the 7inch +40 rim. Your rim will stick out 16.35mm more.

So yeh, you'll either have to get a narrower tyre or run some aggressive camber and get inner tyre wear.

Its the rear thats the problem on the DC2R. The front has a little more room, especially if you remover the inner gaurds in the front.
