upz..looks like, i missed this thread. and now already out of topic

anyway, just share my opinion. For me, there's nothing wrong put red badge in "ordinary" civic. If someone say, only "genuine" type-r can carry this badge, so what is the term of modification ? I have Type-R grille, Type-R undercarriage cover, type-R start button, Type-R brake cooling slate, Type-R key panel, etc..etc..etc.. (and badges too). If ppl say, can't, so what parts should i use then ? GTR? Sti ? or Evo ?
if you have civic, just use type-r parts, if you have CL7 - use CL7R parts, and if you have NSX, use NSX-R parts. easy right ?
so for badge, It's just modification, just for nice looks, and unfortunetely...Red color badge is damn nice !

and once again, pls DO NOT see civic type-r so high (FD2R or FN2R), they're just 180 and 144 Kw ONLY. will EASILY get smashed by Mazda3 MPS or Holden. For me Type-r is nothing in automotive world.only superior in Honda world

    jsut shouldnt be done
Don't get wrong mate, Red H badge just H logo with red color. same like ppl use Sti logo (subaru logo in pink color) on WRX. JUST the logo. nothing wrong.
but GTR /EVO badge is not logo, but "Word". I'm pretty sure, none of us put "TYPE-R" word badge on "ordinary" civic. if this happen, it will make me laugh too.

It may as well. HONDA only fits them to..wait for it.. TYPE Rs! (Formula 1 cars notwithstanding).

Is this really that hard to comprehend. Red H = Type R.

Have you ever wondered why they don't put pink or purple H's on their car: I'll tell you - It isn't associated with the Type R.

Red, as a colour simply isn't THAT popular!

    End of story.

Mate dont talk to me like im an idiot. i never said its hard to comprehend, i just said from an outsiders prospective i never really assosiated the Red H exclusively to type Rs, so to some people thinking a red emblem on a civic sport is making Type Rs look bad...most people other then Honda enthusiasts probably wont make that connection. so therefore i dont see the big deal.

so what if i had the whole type r body kit, brembo brakes, k20 engine etc...it's called type r CONVERSION right? like many older civic model owner and integra owner did...so fair to put the red H badge on? i don't see what the big deal is...just coz it's red...so what if i rephrased the question to "how do you take the H badges off coz i just bought a couple of blue ones" would this whole argument have started?

Looks like everyone need to little bit cool down now, it's still spring, not summer yet...
    FYI. Red H badge = Type-R ??? yes and no !!! depends.
ok, if you order parts from honda Japan, especially red H badge for civic FD, 1 st question they will ask : Konichiwa...lol...joking.. 1st question : For what civic FD ?
    ???why ???
Because : Honda manufacture 2 kind of red H badge for civic FD 2006+:
    1. smaller size for Civic FD2R (type-r)
    2. bigger size for normal civic FD. (FD1/2/3/4)
only a few mm diff tho.
the point is : Why Honda japan specially make Red H badge for normal civic FD ? is it Red H badge only for civic FD2R (type-r) ?
the answed : business ! Money ! That's why, for me, red H badge is NOT only for Type-R (FD2R), well, because when ordered, we said for normal civic FD 2006..lol
I will post a pics later

i think moons is a little upset because maybe his type r got its ass wooped by a standard civic with Red H badges at a set of traffic lights or maybe its because he paid an extra $15K for a heavier car with red H badges and his car is not unique anymore....LOL

just get over it...let people do wat they want to their cars, there is no need to be hatin', people who have red H's on standard civics do not put them on because they think they actually own a type r or want to race one at a set of lights they do it cos they like the look of it.

When you run out of reasonable and logical arguments, you let me know, okay?

i don't think your arguments have been very logical or reasonable moons, so who are you to be telling others to be...i thought you said before that people are entitled to their opinion so if cracker thinks that your a fag then thats his opinion.

I also recall you saying a few pages back that people with Red H's on non type r civics are spastics...wheres the reasonableness and logic in that statement???

Just seriously get over it...a fellow forumer asked a simple question of how to get a badge off and smartarses like you have nothing better to do than criticise instead of just answering the question or helping out.

If you don't have anything valuable to add just don't bother because a majority of people on this forum actually get along with eachother and like hearing what mods people are making to their cars no matter what they might be.
