I kinda agree with you, but at the same tiime it could just be the relfection and angle of lighting. Or as NeoNode said "it could be its protective housing".

Didn't even bother about asking for skirts. Just way to expensive.

If you find one anywhere i suggest you just get it because wreckers don't really have them either.
Are you sure? cos i ask the honda dealer here last Nov, it cost me $259 inc paint and fittings

yeah positive. it was honda in ringwood. After the quote i then said 'i don't want the whole bar, just the lip' and his reply was 'this is just the lip'

1998+ is when the DC's got the face lift, thats why they call it a "98+ conversion"

edit: also for the full conversion u gotta change the rear tail lights (indicators are that pinkish clear colour) and the side indicators (from orange to clear) the ones in the front quarter panel (i think thats the right term), and the rear bumper

    Hey ken,

You will need more than that for a full conversion... beside the front and rear bumper, headlight, cornerlights, tail lights, you will need to remove the side mouldings, side mirrors are diff as well, there were a few other things but i cant remember...there is a post on T-I with the full listing of parts to convert to 98+

Well yes a "FULL" conversion would require that, but a 'basic full conversion is just generally the main obvious changes from 98+'

but generally when TI talk about 98+ its the basic obvious changes, like the ones listed

if someone wanted a "full" 98 conversion they should just buy a 98+ teg
