    your wrong and "danielj"'s post explains why, if you have a pre-July 07 probationary license and your car meets the new restrictions but breaks the old ones, then its still fine

    its not still outlawed. Its not a Hi-Po 6, or V8 or turbocharged or supercharged..
    therefore you can drive it.

    If you're in victoria then you can drive it. I've already called up vicroads and currently looking to buy a dc5r (Im a P-plater btw). Drive it, our fat ass will probly make it 50kw per tonne anyway. hahah..jkjk

    the RTO or vicroads as you call it are all useless

    i called up got put from a lady to an "operator" through to modifications who then gave me another number to call which is a different section

    I've got a friend who has a DC5R, has had no problems with it, the rules are clearly stated in Vicroads, there's no other way you can misinterpret them. If you get trouble with cops, it's clearly stated that it's legal...

    then get into an accident and find that unsurance wont cover you and the car you hit , sounds like a good idea to me!

    but dc5r's are legal... im just saying to take off the stickers and spoiler to attract unwanted attention mate, since p platers get alot of attention already. i would know as im on my p's and i drive a red euro sport.. and i always get pulled over and followed... its just a normal euro that looks kinda sporty with the kit and rims and foggies.

    Just curious on what happens if i (NSW Green P-plater) got to Victoria with an S2000 (pretty sure its not legal in VIC for P-Platers) would i have any issues?
