ive got skunk2 lowering springs on my fd1 installed at the moment
its stiff and cornering/handling is improved defintely. Defintely, wont be as comfortable ride with oen springs. Depends if your use to it and sacrifice the comfort for a lowered ride.
got them from 999 automotive!.
nevertheless, great springs

^^^ hmmm so how to lower ride but still not sacrificing any comfort?

Specs is 2.25" front and 2.0" rear but after the fitment onto my FD1.
Seems like about 1 1/4", you will see the difference though especially if you have a set of aftermarket 17"s

2-3" drop, you'll be looking at king springs super low" from 2" onwards drop, low is about 1.5"
I've had my skunk2 springs for about 2 weeks now. Notice more of the drop now then the frist few days after it got installed.
Comparing the both, on my old car I had king springs and I prefer skunk2 over the king springs.

Just got my D2 Coilovers in! No more sluggish sussy now!!!!

oh ok. nice ill be getting skunk2s then. cheers

hi guy, i'm thinking of lowerin my sport with tein SS coilover, but when i search around i found there are different types of TEINSS for the 8Gen civic, like FD1, FD2, FA1, FA5, FG1, FG2 and their price are varies..... just wondering what are their differences except the spring rate and ride height?
besides can any1 confirm civic FD1,FA1, FA5, FG1 and FG2, coilover can fit our civic sport?

Hey, was your car lowered with Kings lows or super-lows? cause i was told you couldn't get super-lows for FD.....can anyone confirm this??
-
I wouldn't get springs full stop but thats just IMO... Coilovers FTW..
Anyawys i don't see why not to get the super-lows for the FD. I haven't heard anything wrong / bad that happened with them... I'd say to get the lows since super-lows it'll eventually sag and will cause scrubbing...
