How can your car be stock when it has modifications?? To me stock means how the car comes out from the factory. I think a lot of people get confused when they read that a "stock" car does a certain quarter mile time and then quote this incorrect time in future arguments..

i did 14.7 with 98 miles tho.. thats the thing i dont get lolz

It means your car didnt take off as well as his. 98miles/hour trap speed indicates to me that with a better launch would see you do very low 14sec pass

it may also be the fact that your car is heavier and more difficult to get off the line quickly...........so it certainly doesn't imply driver technique..
