    Insurance and Modification.

    Hi all,

Would removing the intake resonator on my civic void any insurance in an accident? Its such a minor change? Just wanting some insight. Thanks

u just never know with insurance companies. thats why i would suggest giving them a call and asking them... most likely theyll tell u it does void ur cover even though surely it has no affect on any accident u may have... they just want any excuse not to pay up.

the easier option would be to just leave the resonator in. i dont think theres much 2 gain from removing it.

as for sourcing help here i dont know how often people make claims having only removed their resonator as a modification but u never know. most of the time a big exhaust or watever will be a bigger deal.

i dont think they would even be looking at something as small as a resonator being removed
to see all of my build, checkout

if they want too, they can can you for any mods... however, remvoing of a resonator i dont think will be a problem because you need to know what you are looking for to see that it is gone...
    - not removed by choice! - waiting for the next update to the saga
