haha i got my car serviced today, and as expected i got a reaction from the mechanics and such. Their reaction was ..positive! lol they actually understood it. and they even GAVE ME MORE STICKERS! lol

I think the problem that most of us have with the OP here is that the majority of the car has been purchased by his parents and he is not appreciating the true value of the vehicle as .... I think most people will be angry at OP for not understanding this, rather than the stickers themselves.

and the OP has every right to modify the car to his tastes and standards and that's fair enough, but, as pointed out above; a lot of us have gone through that "phase" but usually with cheaper and older cars. As we've matured we're less inclined to obviously do these things, but, to see it done to a brand new luxury car by an OP that isn't appreciating the value of the vehicle because its been given to him, it's a bit of a shock to us. Moreso we all know that in a few years he'll look back at it and go "wtf what was I thinking"...

i got it from one of the traders in the forum, um CarX? custom made. he was selling the badges too, so i thought combined postage, what the heck.

lol random accusations will get you nowhere. it is true that i actually thought the front badges and front window decal was cool. but the other stuff happened as i came by them by chance. for example, the first cool thing i ever saw on this forum was someone sporting custom grill with a euro r badge (i think i mentioned that i cudnt find a cheap euro r badge)

but that was about it. Then i somehow managed to find Carx who i discovered while reading his subforum that he can custom make stickers. so i ordered some off him
at the same time, some people were asking for stuff like "ivtec inside" stickers
and "i love my honda" stickers
I got my own rendition of ivtec inside made up (even i thought it was too tacky to stick onto my car...its sitting on my table next to me right now)
then i didnt like the design of the I love my honda stickers, but i like the slogan of honda
"Power of dreams" so i got them made up
i was thinking lol it mite be a cheesy, cause not everyone mite feel the same way about that slogan but i like it. and its combined postage anyway
at the same time i saw him advertising mugen badges and transformer badges
once again, it was cheap and tempting. being a transformer badges, and since i was going for the "mugen" theme anyway
at the time i didnt have any idea where to stick them cause i had only planned on a grill badge and window sticker

then i read someone asking for a custom transformer sticker, i got the brainstorm of the "mugen/transformer" theme. and since i had the power of dreams slogan, i mite as well stick a Honda theme in there too, so i got the bright idea of the Honda logo inside autobots. Even at that point i thought it was cheesy, but i thought it was so funny and unexpected that i managed to see a connection between the two, that i just HAD to get it. so i did. like i said before, i was totally expecting negativity from the transformers thing, but i like it cuase it was so amusing to me.

i think after that, i was eating with my friend, the one who keeps shwoing me funny hong kong custom civics, and funny decals and badges. he showed me some civic sport with fake TYpe R badges. that got me started into the mocking TYpe R thing. (esp since i cudnt find any euro r) the irony was amusing to me

at the same time i remembered reading the "post your euro" thread some time ago, and somebody with a red euro had a fake type R badge too, so i thought it was no uncommon to do something funny like that.

then only last week i encountered the new CU2 mugen body kit, and saw that front grill with the badge instead of honda logo, i thought it looked absoultely cool. that inspired me to get the extra long front badge, as well as the big one you see at the back.
just in time as i finalised my order and got it posted to me.

it was just as well i got it, cause the big mugen badge didnt fit anywhere at the front as i intended anyway, but the long one did, and it looked awesome

and i still cant decide where to put the transformer badges, but the packaging on one of them said something about a door stopper with a diagram of it being cut in half and put on each side of where the door opens.


anyway.. all in all you are right in that i intended to add some parts because i thought it was cool. and those particular parts have stayed from version one of my plan. and happen to be the only parts some people like about it (who wouldda guessed? -_-)

and the bits you all hate, well i added it cause it was funny and convenient just like ive been saying all along.

i can only agree with you guys on one thing, that the motivation for putting any single sticker on this car, for watever reason humourous or serious, was because i have a desire to do so because i havent had the opportunity to do so yet.
but if you already know this, and you know "in a few years blah blah" then dont restrict me in experiencing soemthing that you already have, especially since i have made it clear its not something i will regret, and is something i wish to experience to "curb my desire to pimp my ride".
