I got a brand new manual CU2 in Volcano grey. I probably could've hit them up for more of a discount but i walked out of the house this morning promising i wouldn't spend more than $35,000 on the car including all the accessories that i want. Very happy indeed. And now the painful part.... the waiting game :S 11 days and counting till my car arrives...

The AUD has gone upwards recently... Anyway did Honda drop prices when the AUD was at a high last year against the USD and Jap. yen?
u sed it yourself drydenim "RECENTLY" is the key word... most current stock (or the one still on the way here) is purchased way before when AUD is still low... anyway, maybe UNLS1 can clarify this... also once price go up, its not likely to go down again for a while...
i just finalised my negotiation today. got the buran silver 09 model (built 08 i guess) standard auto for $37K incl. rear parking sensor, mats, touch up paint, front fog lights, leather gear knob, 6 yrs warranty (3 yrs factory & 3 yrs dealership) and fuel tank of petrol.
I went to see some dealership but face to face they seemed realy firm on prices. so i decided to call around approx 7 dealerships. Got knocked back from a few but after gong back and forth from one dealer to another dealer by simply say " i got offered...etc can u match? if you can match, i can put a deposit via credit card TODAY" i finally got it. Not totally happy coz i read some posts they said they got theirs for 33 or 34K however bear in mind they have increased their prices. and if they serious cant do it, they cant do it.
also, depends on the dealer, if they have stocks that they purchased prior to the price increase, theycan do it cheaper for u.
oh sh*t i just realised i didnt ask for metallic or pearlescent. i thought it would come with the colour you choose... far ou... arggghhhh
Mate - how did you get this car for this. Just with the rear park sensors, on the road in Qld including dealer delivery of about $1800 plus GST, and stamp duty etc its $42,000 before any discounting....
Well I did it today. After many weeks of carshopping and research i bought myself the CU2 Ended up costing $34,800 with the following included:
- On roads
- Mats
- Tints
- Towbar
- Full tank of fuel
- Street directory
- and to make the deal even sweeter the salesperson chucked in a bottle of wine haha.

Did your brother get any accessories with the car? I was offered $32k for an ex-demo Euro at trivett in Parramatta when i was shopping for my car. I think i could've bargained it down to $30k for the car cause the salesperson looked a bit desperate but it wasn't my colour.

yups. It wasn't in bad condition. Had one or 2 minor scuffs near the footwells (on the drivers side) and overall wasn't too bad of a car. Just the colour i didn't particularly like. And the fact that its ex-demo. Cause i know i gave the Accord euro a good beating when i test drove it :P
