if he dindnt plug in the Vtec wire his engine light would come on.
if his Vtec fell off it, the left rear tyre would go flat.
what did yoiu have done to the head, was it shaved at all, what head gasket did you use

My engine light is on.. Im scared. What should i do? wher is the vtec solenoid plug placed?..Im pretty sure that my valve timing is timed right. My engine just cuts out at about 7000rpm(8000rpm is more like it).

Are you sure the gasket is the right thickness? The wrong one will change your compression and it might be the cause of your lagging VTEC...
