EM1 drivers power window; auto up?

I've just purchased an EM1 coupe (gotta sell my ej8 now), and that the driver's side window has auto down but no auto up. Is there something wrong here? My ej8 has auto up and down, u just tap the button.

The guy i bought it off owned it since 2001 (its a 2000) and says that the window never had auto up. Is he telling the truth?

That was the same with my old EM1.
never had auto up.

yes its normal

at that time of honda cars, they stopped with the auto up electric windows.

this is speaking from my experiences with a 96 ek, 99 ek and 98 crv...

maybe they thought its safer or somethin, my friend had his fingers at the top of the window and i didn't know and auto up'd the window. heh

could it be old or broken? mines other way around, mine is a dc4 96 model....only has auto up but not auto down?

Thanks for the posts guys, maybe they got rid of it come 1999 because of stuck fingers lol!

um, has this been from factory ? Try resetting the window memory and seeing if that helps, from memory it was hold down till end + 5seconds and hold up till up + 5 seconds (try going other way I forgot the combination)
This usually happens if you run a flat the window memory will be loss and requires resetting, give it a shot no harm.

get the relay from an EJ8, sounds very simple to plug and play

would drive me mad not having an auto up, lol
