Many many ppl have done if and there are many threads on it, for starters why do u wanna go this way? Do you think it will flow better because it is the same cast as the type-r head when in actual fact it IS the same but does NOT have the mild hand port job from honda resulting in an almost exact flow/output as a full stock b18c? Also doing this will lower ur compression ratio by about 2 points. The negative is, if you wanna go b16 head on a b18 u will have to spend more money to get a new head gasket and head studs/bolts instead of an untouched full b18c all for "no gain"

    Thanks

    Here we go, found it

you would be better off looking into paring up the b16 vtec head with a b20 bottom, otherwise a straight b18c7 swap is easier, hassle free, cost effective.

ok cool so everything already setup for a b-series vtec, so why not just drop in the b18c, dont worry bout b18c with b16a head. have u got the b18c ecu also? would you consider going b20 block?
