    dont want to take pics cus its embarrassing. the person that wired this car up should be shot

    also going to do the things you just told me now. wont be able to test drive it till tomorrow as actually already in bed... lol..

    pics would help to know your identifying the right wires & this doesnt just turn into some wild goose chase

    ok the wire i did rig up today was the Vtec wire... i think its the comp hey

    ill re do the wire now, and see how it goes tomorrow. i might even see if i can rig up a new plug to fit into the A4 part...

    A4 turns vtec solenoid on/off with 12V,solenoid grounded thru the cylinder head
    whole A-plug(26pin) in general is outputs

    hard to tell anything from the pic for wiring,too far away.

    ecu looks like its had a couple of traces repaired below the chip,unless thats just wierd lighting effect...

    what does the sticker say on the side of the ecu? ie P30 or P28 or P06 or P??,etc
    could be one of those nasty vtec converted jobs
